The Magic Pill

Most of us can easily get caught by ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos and the next question that would pop to our minds is “Is it real?”. The search of a product that could give us that superb body figure that one would drool over has never ceased to catch my attention.

There are many pills, supplements and health products out in the market and being mere humans, *cough* we would always love to get things the easy way. I mean think of working out 2 hours 3 times a week and compare it to just consuming a magical pill for a period of time and wait for our bodies to show some results.

I think the answer is obvious, most people will join in the voyage of locating the “Magical Pill”. Research has shown that the average Malaysian can spend about RM800 – RM2000 a month on slimming products; I would rather use that on vacations…

A recent survey that I have done showed that almost 100% of the responses indicate that people do believe that exercise is more effective than consuming health products. But then, why do people still go for the “Magical Pill” and don’t just exercise? Well, I’ll get back to that ‘reason’ after doing some surveys and observations; hehehe.

I am no health expert nor am I saying that all the health products and slimming centres out in the market are just baloney, but this is my view…

If there really is a magical pill or product out there that could give us the health and body we desire, then the world would be a very healthy place where everyone is an extremely fit supermodel. Sadly, the reality is that it does not work that way. I believe in basically keeping a simple healthy diet tagged with consistent regular exercises which then could be enhanced by using health products if one’s budget permits.

The first step of getting into a healthy lifestyle and reaching that desired surfer’s body is realising that there is NO MAGIC PILL. SO WAKE UP!! and jump on that treadmill!
